Inserting water into the nose and throat of the deceased

Question:

What do the pious and expert scholars of Islam say: It is said that when a man or women dies in the state of impurity (Junub) their Ghusl does not become valid unless their throat has been cleaned with a wet piece of cloth three times and some water is inserted in the nose. Is this true?

Answer:

This is totally against the teachings of Islam. Wash the body by performing Wudu first, without putting water into the mouth and nose.

And Allah ﷻ knows best
