What do the scholars and experts of shari’ah say regarding my situation?

I will be undergoing surgery in a couple of weeks. Afterwards I will have a urinary catheter for a week or so but have been advised that I am likely to have a degree of incontinence for some time following its removal, necessitating absorbent pads.

I wondered what the implications were for wudu and salat?

I pray for your swift recovery, Ameen.

You will be required to make fresh wudu for each salat when you have urinary catheter and an absorbent pad. It will be good to change the absorbent pad if you feel its uncomfortable and soiled.
