Can one make a vow to place flowers on the grave of a martyr or a wali?

Question:

Is it permissible to make a vow to place flowers or a garland on the grave of a Wali of Allah ﷻ or a martyr?

Answer:

Such a vow is not classed as a vow in the Sacred Law’s terminology aand hence will not come under this category.

Yes, placing flowers is commended and to place a garland on the blessed graves of the Awliya for blessings is also a commendable act.

And Allah ﷻ knows best.
