Question:
What do the scholars and experts of shari’ah say regarding the following? What are the blessed actions and deeds that a fasting person can perform in the blessed month of Ramadan, particularly on Laylat al-Qadr.
Answer:
All perfect praise is for Allah ﷻ, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah ﷻ, and that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is His final Messenger.
The blessed month of Ramadan as a whole and the night of qadr are significant opportunities for a person to gain as many righteous deeds as possible. Every effort should be exerted to achieving this. Whoever deprives themselves of the virtues of this glorious night, then unfortunately their loss is huge.
A person should busy themselves in the dhikr of Allah ﷻ, the recitation of the Holy Qur’an, and sending blessings and salutations upon the eminent Messenger ﷺ. These are moments where we must implore the help of Allah ﷻ in striving and combatting the false and deceiving traps of the devil.
And Allah ﷻ knows best.
